However, this potential has not been optimally supported due to limited production capacity and relatively small sales volume, as the market share is still local. The purpose of this activity is to provide guidance and training on creating store management accounts and content creation so that beekeepers can take advantage of a wider market, especially the Shopee marketplace, thereby increasing their production and sales volume. As a result of this activity, beekeepers better understand the importance of marketing their products on the Shopee marketplace and gain a larger market share. As a result, in a short period, they were able to secure their first buyer on the marketplace, and their product already has strong competitiveness due to its attractive packaging and nutritional information label issued by the Ministry of Health. Successfully utilizing the marketplace will increase sales volume and encourage the community in Parappe village to focus on being trigona honey bee farmers and also to use Shopee marketplace as a marketing platform.
Muhammad Mukhram, Wulan Ayuandiani, Indayani B, Ahmad Taufiq Nurhasan Copyright (c) 2025 Muhammad Mukhram, Wulan Ayuandiani, Indayani B, Muhammad Taufiq Nurhasan https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://equatorscience.com/index.php/move/article/view/528 Sat, 15 Nov 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Introduction of Generative AI to Improve Digital Literacy of Sanggar Bimbingan AMI Penang Malaysia Children https://equatorscience.com/index.php/move/article/view/538
Indonesian migrant workers' children (PMI) in Malaysia often face structural challenges in accessing formal education, thus relying on non-formal education services such as Sanggar Bimbingan (SB). SB AMI Penang, like most other SBs, operates with limited resources, which contributes to the digital literacy gap. However, digital literacy is a crucial competency for social and economic participation in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. This international community service program aims to design and implement a Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) introduction program as a pedagogical tool to improve the digital literacy competencies of children at SB AMI Penang. The community service methods include workshops and practical training. The results of structured and ethically oriented GenAI introduction activities proved effective in improving digital literacy in marginalized communities. The conclusion of this community service is that GenAI has the potential to be an equalizing tool to bridge the digital divide faced by Indonesian diaspora children.
Arief Rahman Yusuf, Ambiro Puji Asmaroini, Angga Prasetyo, Etistika Yuni Wijaya, Uki Suhendar, Desi Dwi Ramadhani, Erfan Sugiantoro, Ryan Juppenny Copyright (c) 2025 Arief Rahman Yusuf, Ambiro Puji Asmaroini, Angga Prasetyo, Etistika Yuni Wijaya, Uki Suhendar, Desi Dwi Ramadhani, Erfan Sugiantoro, Ryan Juppenny https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://equatorscience.com/index.php/move/article/view/538 Sat, 15 Nov 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Empowering Youth with Brain, Beauty, and Behavior: A Development Economics Perspective https://equatorscience.com/index.php/move/article/view/532
This community service activity aims to integrate the concept of Brain, Beauty, and Behavior (3B) into the character development of university students as a foundation for shaping a high-quality generation, particularly through an educational approach within the field of Development Economics. The activity was conducted through an interactive seminar targeted at participants of the “Akang-Teteh Ekbang” selection event, namely selected students who serve as departmental ambassadors. The seminar covered the scope of development economics, career prospects, and the importance of strengthening critical thinking (brain), self-confidence and communication skills (beauty), as well as ethics and social responsibility (behavior) as an integrated foundation for forming excellent and adaptive graduate profiles. The methods applied included material presentation and reflective discussion. The results indicated an increase in academic motivation and participants' understanding of the strategic role of the Development Economics major. These findings suggest the need to strengthen similar programs as part of an integrated strategy for student character and academic development.
Stannia Cahaya Suci, Vadilla Mutia Zahara Copyright (c) 2025 Stannia Cahaya Suci, Vadilla Mutia Zahara https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://equatorscience.com/index.php/move/article/view/532 Sat, 15 Nov 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Rural Economic Improvement Strategies by Optimizing The Digital Marketing Application (Case Study: Tirtayasa Village, Serang Regency, Banten Province) https://equatorscience.com/index.php/move/article/view/533
Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University (Untirta) is actively involved in community service, one of which takes place in Tirtayasa Village. The village still has limited infrastructure and a demographic profile largely consisting of farmers and daily laborers. Although there have been efforts to develop micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), local potential—such as culinary products—has not been fully optimized. A major challenge is the community’s lack of basic knowledge and skills in using digital platforms such as social media, online marketplaces, and digital marketing strategies. To address this issue, a digital marketing training program was conducted to improve the community’s ability to promote their products online and to encourage creativity in developing the village’s flagship products. The program was carried out in four stages: preparation, implementation, evaluation, and reporting. The USG (Urgency, Seriousness, and Growth) analysis was used to identify key problems. The results show that the training not only successfully transferred technical knowledge, but also inspired participants to adopt more innovative approaches in developing their businesses.
Deswita Herlina, Togi Haidat Mangara, Olindayanti Siahaan, Togi Marito Simanjuntak Copyright (c) 2025 Deswita Herlina, Togi Haidat Mangara, Olindayanti Siahaan, Togi Marito Simanjuntak https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://equatorscience.com/index.php/move/article/view/533 Sat, 15 Nov 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Enhancing Organic Waste Management Through Simple Composting in Kemanisan Village https://equatorscience.com/index.php/move/article/view/527
The mismanagement of organic waste can lead to negative impacts on both the environment and public health. In the Sarongge area, Kemanisan Subdistrict, improper disposal of organic waste without further processing is still commonly practiced. This activity aims to optimize organic waste management through socialization and training on the production of liquid and solid fertilizers using simple composters. The methods employed include participatory approaches, educational outreach, technical demonstrations, and direct community mentoring. The results of the program indicate an improvement in residents’ understanding and skills in transforming organic waste into useful products such as organic fertilizers for household farming. This initiative is expected to foster environmental awareness and encourage community self-reliance in sustainable waste management.
Evi Dora Sembiring, Entol Syahrafa Nasfa Maulud, Muhammad Imam Alghifari, Meliyana Azizah, Ade Samsinar, Firli Agusetiawan Shavab Copyright (c) 2025 Evi Dora Sembiring, Entol Syahrafa Nasfa Maulud, Muhammad Imam Alghifari, Meliyana Azizah, Ade Samsinar, Firli Agusetiawan Shavab https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://equatorscience.com/index.php/move/article/view/527 Sat, 15 Nov 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Enhancing Digital Tax Literacy through the CoreTax Account Activation at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University https://equatorscience.com/index.php/move/article/view/541
The rapid digital transformation in Indonesia’s public sector, particularly through the CoreTax Administration System, requires strong user readiness and digital literacy.
